AlaskasOwn is primarily a
collection of images from Alaska. The collection features the work of GW
Bell. The subject matter, the materials when possible, and the
artist/craftsman are a reflection of Northern nature and culture. The
work is divided into 2 and 3D images. The 2D images are paintings,
photography, and text. The 3D images are carvings. The carving material
is an amazing array of mostly organic material. Wood, bone and stone all
become AlaskasOwn.
